Showroom Consultant – Bathrooms & Kitchens:
To join our busy showroom team, we are looking for a motivated bathroom and kitchen designer/sales consultant. Experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous but for the right personality, we would offer appropriate training. Experience using CAD software would also be beneficial but is not essential. We offer a complete service from design through to delivery and this often involves multiple appointments with the customer. For this reason enthusiasm, patience, and attention to detail are all important attributes. The role will also involve meeting customers at their homes so a clean UK driving licence is essential. Salary, holiday, and other details to be discussed at the interview stage.
A brief outline of the role can be found below:
- Meeting customers in our showroom or on-site to discuss their needs.
- Designing of bathrooms and kitchens using CAD software e.g. Virtual Worlds, Compusoft Winner.
- Providing the customer with design images, quotations, and technical specifications when necessary.
- Communicating with installers to check the suitability of products before ordering.
- Placing orders and dealing with payment transactions.
- Ensuring the customer is well looked after until and after the job is completed.

Warehouse operative:
We are looking for an energetic person to look after a section of our busy warehouse at Hailsham. The role will predominantly involve booking in and checking goods and collating our showroom’s bathroom orders. Care and attention to detail are key for this role given the value of the products being handled. The position may also involve some occasional relief driving so a clean UK driving licence is important. Sussex Plumbing Supplies are always looking to promote from within so this could lead to other roles within the company for the right person. Salary, holiday, and other details to be discussed at the interview stage
A brief outline of the role can be found below:
- Unloading and booking in deliveries from our suppliers.
- Collating bathroom orders and picking stock items to complete customers’ orders.
- Communicating with the customer to arrange delivery of orders once complete.
- Dealing directly with suppliers to deal with order discrepancies and returns.
- Occasional delivery driving when necessary.
