Happy New Year everyone, We hope you all had a great Christmas and New year.
We recently received some lovely feedback from a customer about our Uckfield team that we’d love to share with you.
“Like all of us I am sure the lead up to Christmas was madness so I thought I would start the new year off with some good points and reaffirming my belief in the Uckfield staff and their helpfulness towards even smaller customers such as myself.
I did have an incident before Christmas whereby I purchased a toilet and cistern etc . It was not the most expensive item but it was to get my son in Hove out of a hole which was great. However on the day when I had time to fit it (a Saturday morning) I found there was a crack in the cistern and of course telephoned the branch. I spoke to Aaron and they had one in Stock however no other branch had one. By this time is was 11.30am and it was a risk to get from Hove to Uckfield by midday so they would be left with no toilet. Aaron actually sent the other guy down to Lewes Branch with the cistern & I met him there. which saved time etc etc.
I went back fitted the cistern, double checked it and had most of the afternoon off. It saved the day. This is not the only time they have helped me over the years but I feel you and the powers that be should know about these guys commitment to the company, and of course we the customers.
Whilst I am not the large plumbing business that could be spending £5/6000 per month so it is very encouraging for those who want to start out in the trade that they would be supported in such a way as to allow them to grow.
Hopefully the approach will continue and perhaps train the other branches to follow their lead.”
