SPS Golf Day 2017

On Saturday 9th September, SPS Eastbourne organised a golf day at Wellshurst Golf Club for the second year in a row.
The day consisted off bacon and coffee on arrival with 18 holes of golf followed by a prize giving and raffle. Prizes were awarded for the team event, best individual, longest drive and nearest to the pin.
The best team on the day was won by bandits, Roger May, John Moors, Lionel Connor and Brian Clarke.
The best individual was also won by Lionel Connor, making it 2 trophies in the cabinet!
The longest drive was won by Bruce Hawes who almost landed on the green on the 4th hole with a huge drive! Nearest to the pin was won by Grant French who hit a delightful tee shot and put it to within 4ft of the hole!
After the golf, all 20 competitors came in for a bite to eat, prize giving and raffle.
