The SPS Grand Prix

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On 27th November, the Uckfield staff took 12 customers Go-Karting in Crawley for the first SPS Grand Prix with the help of Dan Caustin from Grant Boilers.
It all went off without a hitch and everyone seemed to take to the karts very well (apart from Steve Downs sending the Marshalls into melt down as he drove the wrong way around the track!).
There was some healthy competition going on with a little bit of cheating here and there (mentioning no names). In the end the boys with the least body fat managed to win 1st, 2nd and 3rd (that puts most of the staff out of the running!)
Tommy Woollven managed to scrape 1st place followed closely by his twin brother, Chris Woollven. Kevin Reeve came in 3rd place to steal the last place on the podium. The guys won trophies along with some prizes. Dan from Grant supplied a 1st place prize (a Grant Filter) and SPS supplied 2nd and 3rd place prizes (a bottle of Rum and Whiskey), well done guys.
After karting it was off to TGI Fridays for some well deserved food and drinks.
