Saturday 13th October Eastbourne Borough played at home vs Torquay United. As match-day sponsors, SPS took some of our customers down to the game to watch from a box with food also served by the club.
An entertaining match started with Eastbourne Borough taking a 1 – 0 lead into half time, with a goal being scored by Alfie Rutherford. Second half saw Torquay take a 2 – 1 lead with both goals in quick succession. Borough’s second goal by Dean Cox equalised the game in the 77th minute before Torquay scored another 2 goals up to the 91st minute.
SPS awarded Alfie Rutherford Man of the Match, scoring in the 36th minute of play for Eastbourne Borough.
