On the 1st of September SPS Eastbourne organised their Annual Golf Day at Wellshurst Golf Club. In lovely conditions 16 men entered the field in stableford format.
4 fourballs battled the boggy course with prizes for on offer for overall team winner which was the best 3 scores on your team combined, a prize for best individual score, nearest to the pin and the longest drive.
The best team was won by Richard (Glowworm) , Lionel, Noel and Ollie with a combined score of 132 and the best individual score was won by Roger ‘bandit’ May. He also picked up the nearest to the pin award too. Longest drive was won by Kev Dunlop with a great drive on the 4th.
The day continued with a prize giving and raffle in the afternoon, we raised a fantastic £105 for local charity You Raised Me Up.
