Once again Christmas is nearly here, which can only mean one thing, SPS Uckfield’s Christmas curling event. This year saw 24 Uckfield customers and staff take to the ice to try their hand at the winter sport of champions. Everyone seemed to bring their A game this year and there were some very close games being played. Although not all teams got to play against one another, one team remained unbeaten once the time was up. Aarron, Costi and Aaron didn’t lose a game in the 2 hours that were played and were therefor crowned as the SPS Curling Champions of 2018. After Curling everyone went off to The Picture House restaurant in Uckfield and enjoyed plenty of food and drinks, a great time had by all.Thank you to Aarron from Ideal Boilers for putting some money towards the event and being apart of a great night. Looking forward to the 2019 tournament.
