This years summer solstice saw SPS Uckfield’s staff and customers take to the field for their annual cricket game at Isfield Cricket Ground.
It was a beautiful evening made even better by an amazing game that would later be described as one of the best games of cricket to ever be played.
Being cricket players themselves, Jon Yates and James Fellows put themselves forward to be captains even though Jon had already chosen to be the umpire (controversial).
In the end, despite some quite blatant cheating from Jon Yates, James’ team was too much for them and they ran away with the victory with Brendhan Nesbitt being awarded batsman of the night.
There was also a quick penalty shootout afterwards, which as you can see, went downhill very quickly.
A great evening had by all.
